My Win is Your Gain!!! It's a Giveaway!!

The lucky winner (using Random.org) of the book is Marie from Oregon who said
"I love the Country Registor. I won a book once from them. I have book #1 and have made a couple of the basket so would love to have this new addition."

Have you ever seen this little newspaper "The Country Register"?? It is typically at quilt stores.. craft stores.. etc. I think most States have their own version of it.

It is a handy newspaper for crafters - telling us about craft fairs and crafty events of all kinds.. recipes.. fun articles and so much more.

Anyway - if you didn't already know this about me.. I'm a VERY LUCKY PERSON. I have won a lot of things in my life. The first thing I ever won was a "Boombox" at a youth event at church when I was just a kid. And the rest is history!!

So recently I was reading my local Minnesota Country Register and I signed up for all the "drawings". Then yesterday, I was at the mailbox and found a little package.. I WON!!!

It's a book.. Called "It's a Wrap II" by Susan Breier.

I know that I will probably never use this book. Therefore, I want to pass it on to one of you! Pay if Forward as they say.

    Love the Country Register. I know the lady personally who started it. I went to church with her when I was a kid and her whole family used to come and visit us. She's one neat lady. (Barbara Floyd)

    I'd love to win the book. I've made a few baskets like this but am a beginner and need to learn more about the techniques and processes. New year's resolutions - be a nicer person.

    Oh I love that newspaper. I on the other hand am not a lucky person and never win a thing but I keep on trying. New Years resolution, to use up more of my stash, Merry Christmas

    I like the Country Register too. It is a great way to keep current on local craft happenings, especially quilt shop hops. No New Year's resolutions.

    My BFF and I saw some of these bowls made up in a quilt shop once. We wanted to try to make them. I don't usually make resolutions, but I would love to quilt more next year as I've been a little side tracked for the last two years :-( Thanks for sharing your giveaway!

    One of my resolutions is to be more hospitable. I used to have people over for dinner, to play games, for barbeques, etc. But I have let that slide, always using the excuse that I'm to busy. I'm hoping to slowly start having friends over more. Thanks for the chance at the book, I have the first one, and would love to have this one too. Merry Christmas!

    Haven't thought much about my new year's resolution yet. Maybe just to get up a little earlier and maybe walk on the treadmill? Hmmm, I think I said that last year, too! Anyway, I would love to win this book. I've heard such good reviews about her first book....

    I have thought many times about trying this. Would love a book to tip me over the edge! LOL! Would love to really commit to losing weight for the New Year, but it seems I have zero will power.

    I will be making resolutions, or goals which makes it seem like less pressure, in the next week or so. For the last two years, all my goals have been stitching related and it seems they are much easier to achieve than the regular lose weight, exercise more, etc!

    I would love to have that book! I made several bowls from the first book (you can see one on my blog (bluesbroad.blogspot.com) and they were really fun to make! They make great gifties, plus they use up lots'o scraps.

    I haven't seen a Country Register for YEARS ... I will definitely start keeping an eye out since it would be a great tool for exploring this still pretty new-to-me area.

    I have wanted to try one of these wrapped clothesline shapes for a long time ... and would love to win the book.

    I've always wanted to try this but haven't gotten around to it. No resolutions but would like to be more productive in my sewing, maybe kinder and gentler with a dash of tiny bit more patience. Happy Holidays to you and your family.
