We have a WINNER!! Thanks to Random.org which selected #45 - Sunny from http://sunny-quiltingdreams.blogspot.com/ is our lucky winner of the pattern this month.
Send me your info Sunny and I will get this in the mail to you! Congrats!
Happy New Year everyone! I hope you are as optimistic as I am about the year to come. My husband and I agree that 2011 is going to be a good year for us! After the stress of moving across country in 2010 - we are both looking forward to settleing back into a nice routine.
I'm not a big "resolution" person - but this year I am planning to push myself toward better "time management". We'll see how that works.
Well, the votes are in and I agree! And a monthly giveaway of the "Patch Abilities" Pattern is what I will do. So each month - after I finish my mini quilt, I will post a giveaway for the pattern. This is a win win - because it will push me to make the pattern asap!
And after reading more on the Patch Abilities website - I learned that you can't buy the patterns for 2011 alone until 2012. The only way to get them is by joining the monthly 'club' for 2011. You can buy individual patterns for previous years - but not 2011.
Anyway - on to the giveaway. I'm also going to include a button pack with the pattern. I just need to go to the quilt store and pick one up. They were closed all weekend for New Years! Don't they know when a quilter needs supplies.. we want them NOW! lol
As always.. NO HOOPS!! Just leave a comment for a chance to win.
Maybe you could tell me what you did for New Years Eve?
I will leave the giveaway open until Tuesday morning - 6am CST.
Hope you had a peaceful New Year. As for me, I attended a couple of "Twitter Parties". That was a unique experience!
ReplyDeleteThat's a cute snowman quilt, I love how yours turned out. What a great idea, incentive to make your monthly quilt. We didn't do much on New Years Eve, stayed home and watched a rented movie. We did stay up until midnight to see in the new year. I'm hoping, like you, for a good 2011.
ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeleteWe went shopping on New years Eve and then went out for Chinese food with our young daughters.
After they'd gone to bed (protesting that they wanted to stay up till midnight....) we settled down to watch movies. Alas, we went to bed before the witching hour....oh well, maybe next year we'll have THAT party !!
Fin snemann;jeg liker applikasjon som går litt utenpå og over neste stoff!! GODT NYTT ÅR 2011:-)
ReplyDeleteFor New Years Eve this year my two best friends came over and we ate and drank and then had a PJ party. Oh lots of fun and some crafting too.

New Years Eve is my birthday so I was out partying the night away.
ReplyDeleteI didn't feel so good yesterday (sleep deprivation) so I didn't get to start a new project the way I had planned.
I'm looking forward to some serious stitching/sewing in 2011.
Margaret

Love your Blog - I am a new follower. I spent a quiet New Years Eve looking after our little pet joey Ollie who is still being bottle fed.
ReplyDeleteYour snowman is amazing - living in Western Australia it is in the high 30s (celcius) here so a white Christmas seems amazing.
DH and I went for dinner with friends who live in walking distance. We had prime rib roast, roasted yams and potatoes, salad and butter tarts for desert. We didn't eat until 9:30 so we were still awake enough at 11 p.m. to hang on for another hour. I'm glad we did as someone in town did fireworks at midnight. They were great (along with all the gunshots) and the stars were glorious.
ReplyDeleteI spent the new years eve with my family. We had nice and quiet evening with lots of talk and laughter. Jofrid
ReplyDeleteI do hope that it will be a much less chaotic year for you too. You had enough of that in 2010. Happy New Year.

New Year's Eve is normally an early to bed night after a glass of non-alcoholic egg nog.
