June Friday Night Sew-In Signup

Yes.. it is that time again. And I couldn't need this upcoming FNSI MORE!! I have falling behind on a project and need to get my act in gear.

With all the activities of Summer - it's easy to walk right past that sewing room door. But this next Friday - I'm going to sew sew sew!!

Will you sew with me?

  2. I have a PILE of quilt tops and just got a new machine, so... IF I can layer them this week, I'll be quilting some quilts on Friday night!

  8. Oh Heidi this is fantastic timing!! I have a TON of projects that need to be done asap and this will be just the excuse I need to get my act into gear early in the day to get the little one down for her sleep early!! ... REALLY looking forward to a whole evening of sewing!! Been so long!

  14. I wrote the dates out 2 months ago on a post it and stuck it on my computer at work and still your post came as a shock that it is that time already! I really should pay more attention to the notes on my screen at work!! I think I might be able to join in this month

  32. I have tons and tons of UFO projects....and glad to be trying this with others. I just wrote my blog so please be understanding and know I'm am a human with mistakes and tons of unfinished works not a perfect robot :-) Looking forward to Friday!!!

  45. There is a deadline approaching for a wedding quilt; my daughter is getting married only 9 days from now. I will be quilting on Friday night and the whole weekend, for sure!

  46. I am so looking forward to this allthough there is a football game on the tv tomorrow night as well. (Sweden vs England) But if its not a fun game I'll get to the machine earlier. But at least before and after the game the time is sewing for sure. ;)

  56. I have a bunch of projects - large and small that I hope to complete this weekend, so I really need to get off this computer and drag myself into the sewing machine. If I get my "Little Apples" quilt bound tonight, I will consider this FNSI a success. Thanks for the motivation!

  63. Almost forgot to sign up! I'm working on a baby quilt, old UFO from swap blocks. Tonight I sewed the rows into a top and have the muslin strip border on now. I'm going back to cut the pretty yellow 1930's border print, it will be scalloped. Hope to finish by Saturday and quilt it on Sunday.
