The husband and I have been working in the garage all morning.. going through boxes and boxes of stuff that we never unpacked when we moved 5 years ago.
I came across a box of fabric from "back in the day" - and based on what was in there, this was before from when I was pregnant 11 yrs ago!!
And rather than move it across 10 (or so) States - I would rather stuff it all in a flat rate box and mail it to one of you.
Now keep in mind - this was before I understood the value in quilt store flannel. So this is all from JoAnns and/or Walmart. Still adorable.. and perfect for receiving blankets or burp cloths. There is a lot of yardage.
And... to a second lucky winner - I'll send these two books. They have recipes and instructions for layering recipes in jars. I'm sure you've seen them before. The books are a little bent from being in a box for the last decade.. but otherwise in perfect shape.
To Enter - Just leave a comment... that's it... no extra hoops to jump thru. Giveaway ends Thursday morning at 6am Pacific Time.
Now I'd better get back to the garage before the husband comes looking for me.
You are moving? How did I miss this?
ReplyDeleteFabric is a good thing! So are gifts in a jar!

Fabric is always a GREAT find!! I love finding things I forgot I owned!! Thanks for doing this giveaway!! Count Me in!!
ReplyDeleteIt's like Christmas morning when I go thru boxes that have been packed. Would love either one the prizes.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fabric snob; most creations made far surpass the 'where did you buy the materials' question. I am kept busy with 9 grandbabies to quilt for and now the children's friends are also having babies so...I keep up the giving away what I make for the most part...it is all part of being a quilter...:)
ReplyDeleteWhat fun to discover things we've forgotten .. and of course, one gal's "finds" are another's treasures! :) Flannel looks cute.
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love cleaning out the garage and packing for a BIG move???
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to give away your surplus stuff Heidi. BTW if you draw my name please choose someone else. Great things you are giving but I have enough stuff in boxes myself.
ReplyDeleteOh what a challenge to clean out the garage and later the house. I am sure you will find many hidden treasures.

ReplyDeleteGood luck moving! I can't imagine moving across states. Moving from city to county was more work than I would like to admit. Especially the fabric. I had to get rid of some for the move. SO would LOVE more to add to my stash.
