If you are new to the FNSI - here is how it works.
1. Enter your blog info below. **If you don't have a blog - you can enter the Flickr group link as your URL.
2. Make a post on your blog - letting all your readers know about the sew-in. Spread the word.. we could all use the virtual sewing support and encouragement.
3. On Friday – 05/21/10 - Get your house settled, put on your comfy jammies.. maybe make a cup of tea.. and sit down to work on some of those projects (or anything else that you want to work on.. maybe you want to knit.. or catch up on scrapbooking).
4. Then, sometime on Saturday - Make a post about what you worked on.. show us a picture or two on Flickr.
And finally - on Sunday 5/23, we will enter all participants into a GIVEAWAY for something fun! Maybe some fabric.. or a sewing gadget or two. Bobbi and I both pick winners - so you each will have 2 chances to win!!

Hi,
ReplyDeleteI'm in, can't wait for May 21st.
Manuela
Oh bother!
ReplyDeleteIn April it was our local show the next day so I couldn't participate.
This time it's our local campdraft (horse sports) all weekend so I'll really need an early night Friday night.
I'll just have to watch from the sidelines and fingers crossed I'll be free for the month of June.
Well I sure hope I get to join you all this month. I missed last months. I have very good intentions though! I am looking forward to it.
ReplyDeleteI have missed this! I did not get to participate last month! Thanks for hosting this sewin!
ReplyDeleteWell, I'll definitely by sewing, as I'll be on my annual quilt retreat that weekend, but won't have access to the internet so won't be able to do a post Saturday... so will need to give tihs a miss this month.
ReplyDeleteI get so much done! Yes I will be there!
ReplyDeleteI'm in again! Hopefully a better effort this month.
ReplyDeleteThis w ill be my first Friday Nite Sew-In. Plan on finishing up 3 placemats and maybe I'll get a chance to at least start a 4th.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to Friday. It always makes me get organised.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the sew in. I'm determined to follow through this time. Happy stitching!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting again - It is great motivation knowing there are so many participants throughout cyberspace.
ReplyDeletePlenty of celebrations coming up so I'll have some things with deadlines to work on.
See you there.
I can't wait for this one! I hope to not have problems with things not fitting in the end and running out of fabric because my seams ended up being off because I have a 1/4 seam tool now and extra fabric just in case. I have a few projects that I want to work on but I haven't narrowed it down to which one exactly I'll be working on. And this time I plan to do the house cleaning the day before instead of the day of so I don't end up getting started at least 3 hours later than I had planned.
ReplyDeleteThanks for doing this!! Can't wait, I always get lots done.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to FNSI. I missed out last month, so will have to work double this month.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for FNSI! I just got around to blogging about it! Looking forward to a night to catch up on some sewing!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait! Should be good motivation to work on UFO's
