Garden Update

I thought I would give you a little update on the garden and show you something I received in the mail today.

So far our seeds are sprouting like crazy.

And Kristen from Las Vegas sent me this sweet little package with some seeds for lettuce, melons and adorable flowers.

She also sent this sweet fabric! I fell in love with it instantly. I want to make something with it - I'm leaning towards a pillow of some kind. Or something to hang on the wall.

It's a beautiful Spring day here - I have windows open letting the fresh air in. Now I'm off to plant some more seeds in these little containers.

This garden of ours might be a bit big.. but I'm hopeful and motivated. It helps that my husband is excited about the garden too. And he has always taken pride his his lawn and spends alot of time outside when the weather is nice. I sometimes tease that he loves his grass more than me. Ok.. probably not - but it's a close race.

I love Spring! Pin It

Good luck with your garden. Don't you just love to see things sprout! I planted a few seeds last night (peppers, lettuce and green beans), I'm trying a small little container garden on my apartment patio.

I've been planning, planning, planning our garden too! I've got some lettus and garlic in the ground so far, and I'm enjoying every little ray of sun that we've been getting here lately. This time of year is a lot of fun in the garden, enjoy yours!

I'm growing mud here in Winnipeg. Before the snow fell we had a pretty nice backyard...with grass. Now we have a pile of melting snow, a small lake threatening to enter our basement through the windows, and several mudpits (thanks to 3 dogs tearing around the wet yard). The joys of spring!LoL! Love your sprout picture, makes me hopeful things will be growing soon over here too. Lovely fabric. Do you happen to have the name of it?
