It's cold outside.. the wind is blowing.. snow is falling...
These are the best days to curl up by the fire and play with some wool.
I found this adorable little stand at my LQS and made this cute little wooly to hang. I like being able to do something creative without sitting alone in my sewing room.
Do you work with wool?
P.S. Stay tuned.. the January 20th Friday Night Sew-In will be posted tomorrow!

Love your little display for wool! Yes, I work with wool and love it. Taking a few wool projects on our road trip.
No, I don't but your display is looking so lovely.
Hugs, Kaye xoxox
Love your snowman...I love working with wool. I also don't always want to be alone in my sewing room so hand projects are nice to have ready and waiting.
OHH! I love your little snowman on the stand. You should do a tutorial for it!
Yes, I work with wool. I love it! I am getting ready to start the Pennies From Heaven quilt by Gretchen Gibbons.
That is SO CUTE! I love snowmen...and I love your snowman!
How cute is your little snowman. He would melt here in two seconds. It's SO hot.
I love the stands you can buy in the US. Have never seen them here in Ausie.
Sew looking forward to our first FNSI. Hope to be inspired to work on my POSTAGE STAMP top. LOL
That is sooooo super cute.
Like your little woolly thing. I haven't crocheted for ages but winter will be here soon and I think I should hunt out the hooks and wool soon. I'm more of a sew-er.
Looking forward to the first FNSI for 2012 :)!
Cheers,
Robyn

I haven't worked with wool - but that is gorgeous. It's been soooo hot here, so envying your tales of snow and keeping warm. The weather has become cooler in the last day or so - but not as cool as you're experiencing. I'm hoping to join in Friday night but my eldest DS is having an 18th on Saturday night and leaving for his new job on Sunday. I can always hope...... Cheers
First of all, the little stand is just perfect for displaying small pieces. And I love the wool snowman piece hanging on it. You need one for each month of the year.
Love the display!!! Oh how I hope to participate tonight...first need to see what the crews plan are here.
I adore wool projects! Your snowman is wonderful and I love that stand. It would be so cute on top of my pie safe.
