Pillow Swap complete.. kinda

I finished my pillow for Project Pillow Swap.. a little bit late. It was supposed to be mailed by yesterday (sorry). So I'm mailing today.. just one day late.

My partner's color preferences were "Apple green, poppy red, chocolate brown".. so the only thing I"m missing here is the brown.

I don't have a 16in pillowform inside it for these pictures.. so it doesn't look as "full" as it should. But you get the idea.

And here is the back..

I really hope she likes it. I'm tossing in a few extra's for her.. my signature Phoenix coffee mug from Starbucks and a fat quarter pack. I love putting the coffee mugs in with my swaps.. I don't know why.

Speaking of Starbucks - I mentioned in my previous post how I have been off the crack java for about 6mths now. Well - I had a really super bad night a couple nights ago. I won't go into details cuz I can't relive it.. but it involved an overflowing toilet.. 2 inches of water.. all around midnight. So the next day - as I'm telling my enabler Bobbi all about it and she tells me to go get a Starbucks. "You deserve it" she says.. so I did.

And it was sooooooooo goooooood.. but that's it.. just one. I'm done!!!! Pin It

Love your sense of humor, not sure if I could get off coffee. I am on half cafe and that was after a few days of massive headaches, what does that tell ya!

Oooh I like the pillow colors! It always surprises me how well pink and greens tend to go together :)

Who wouldn't love this pillow. It is so pretty and bright.
You are sweet to be sending the extras. Everyone loves little surprises.
One won't hurt you!
Love to smile, thanks for making me.

Love the story! I gave up caffeine overnight, no gradual reducing, just no coffee full stop. I was ill for a fortnight, talk about cold turkey, it was really serious, but I felt much better eventually and now have the odd coffee - always a really good one, never just stuff from a jar and otherwise drink green tea which I'm sure is really good for me!!

Love the pillow (for obvious reasons!) but so sorry to hear about the toilet overflow. Euwww! You totally deserved a day at the spa, forget about the coffee!

OMG Heidi, I did the same thing this morning! Had myself a little overload meltdown over a nice cup of the good stuff. It was very soothing. You know, sometimes you gotta do what ya gotta do, lol. Sorry about the overflow. There is never a good time for that to happen.

The pillow is looking great - it's going to be a hit with your swap recipient!

The pillow is gorgeous!
Sometimes you just have to go off the rails when life throws curved balls at you. Hitting Starbucks seems like the healthy option - just remember, it could have been the gin bottle!!
I'm so impressed with anyone who can wean themselves off caffeine - it's on my to-do list, but oh, the headaches...I'm going to have to be really strong to do that one!

Totally love it! How do you get involved in these swaps? I think it would be really fun.

Great pillow Heidi! Don't worry about being late. I think the organizer is a bit late, too! Just too many "bumps" the past two months. I have also given up the java. I'm glad that I am past the headache point with that!

Wonderful colours in the cushion Heidi. Things that go wrong in the night deserve a treat. Happy Days.
