The husband and I have been working in the garage all morning.. going through boxes and boxes of stuff that we never unpacked when we moved 5 years ago.
I came across a box of fabric from "back in the day" - and based on what was in there, this was before from when I was pregnant 11 yrs ago!!
And rather than move it across 10 (or so) States - I would rather stuff it all in a flat rate box and mail it to one of you.
Now keep in mind - this was before I understood the value in quilt store flannel. So this is all from JoAnns and/or Walmart. Still adorable.. and perfect for receiving blankets or burp cloths. There is a lot of yardage.
And... to a second lucky winner - I'll send these two books. They have recipes and instructions for layering recipes in jars. I'm sure you've seen them before. The books are a little bent from being in a box for the last decade.. but otherwise in perfect shape.
To Enter - Just leave a comment... that's it... no extra hoops to jump thru. Giveaway ends Thursday morning at 6am Pacific Time.
Now I'd better get back to the garage before the husband comes looking for me.

Fabric is always a GREAT find!! I love finding things I forgot I owned!! Thanks for doing this giveaway!! Count Me in!!
It's like Christmas morning when I go thru boxes that have been packed. Would love either one the prizes.
I'm not a fabric snob; most creations made far surpass the 'where did you buy the materials' question. I am kept busy with 9 grandbabies to quilt for and now the children's friends are also having babies so...I keep up the giving away what I make for the most part...it is all part of being a quilter...:)
What fun to discover things we've forgotten .. and of course, one gal's "finds" are another's treasures! :) Flannel looks cute.
Don't you just love cleaning out the garage and packing for a BIG move???
Great idea to give away your surplus stuff Heidi. BTW if you draw my name please choose someone else. Great things you are giving but I have enough stuff in boxes myself.
Oh what a challenge to clean out the garage and later the house. I am sure you will find many hidden treasures.
I could make something nice out the the pretty fannel.Thank you Heidi.
I'm still so jealous that your moving I wish I could get out of here. ;) I love the fabric and the books. Have fun packing.

Thanks for sharing your unexpected find with us. Good luck with your moving. The fabric is cute and the books are great for gift giving at Christmas time.
I'm not looking forward to packing up the garage when we finally move either. Good thing hubby said he'd take care of it.
Carolyn
It's always interesting to see what you you forgot about when you get ready to move! Happy packing and good luck with your move!
Good luck moving! I can't imagine moving across states. Moving from city to county was more work than I would like to admit. Especially the fabric. I had to get rid of some for the move. SO would LOVE more to add to my stash.
I love to unpack boxes, you never know what are you going to find inside of them, love the treasure you found!!!
I would so love to win those recipe in a jar books!
I'd love to offer your goods a new home. Moving.....errrrr....how far away?

Your give a way goodies are great! As you know I have 2 new grandbabies, and older ones who love to eat so either gift would be useful:)
